here is step by step guide on how to install wordpress for the first time. It completes with screenshots from downloading your wordpress files , setting up database until to install wordpress to your server.

What do you need to before installing wordpress ?

1. Good Hosting account
2. wordpress file

Download Wordpress file

log on to http://wordpress.org/download/ and download wordpress zip file to your Computer.

Extract your wordpress files to a folder

Setup database

Log on to your cpanel , for example http://blablabla.com/cpanel

fill in your hosting username and password and logon

and then find mysql icon and click.

Add new database

Add new database username

Assign user to database

Setup WP-config.php

In the folder you extracted you can find WP-config.sample.php file. Rename this file to WP-config.php.

Open the file with your editor ( ex notepad) and then change to your database name , username and password and then save.

Transfer File to your hosting account via FTP client

You can use any FTP clients to tranfer those files. Many of them can be downloaded for free. My favourite FTP Client is filezilla , you can download it here

login to your ftp using ftp client using your hosting username and password and Transfer the whole wordpress files on your pc into your WWW folder.

After everything is uploaded logon to http://blablabla/wp-admin/install.php , and you will get installation page.Fill in your blog title and email.

After that you will see your installation success page . Here you can have your username and admin password.

Click on the wp-login.php link and then you will see your admin login for the first time.

Sign in and you will see your admin page. You can do all posting , theme editing , etc here.

Click on view site and you will see your blog for the first time and you are done. hope this tutorial helps , thankyou.
